Tick release has been proven to aid in the removal of tick’s head, mouth parts, and cement. Directions : Put 1 to 2 drops on tick. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, then using tweezers lift the tick out. If tick refuses to release, a second application may be necessary. Caution : Do not get into eyes, ear canals, or nasal passages. For external use only. Store away from heat or flame in an area inaccessible to children. When a tick imbeds itself in its host, it secretes a solution called cement which seals it into the host. Physicians recommend that the tick be removed by the head, mouth parts, and cement to lessen any chance of infection.
